Well, all I can really say as I sit at my desk with a cup of coffee and my laptop in front of me on a Sunday morning is, 'My life has certainly changed during the last 10 years'. Here I am at 9 am, and I have been working on a couple of client projects, one of which was emailed across half an hour ago, and it feels just marvellous.
So what sort of websites do we build at Red Noise Media? Simply put we build Wordpress websites, and may we say, and by we I mean I, that Wordpress is fast becoming the dominant force in website design with many programmers turning their attentions to designing breathtaking plugins that are making website a lot more dynamic.
We do also build websites on other platforms, but the bulk of our ever increasing workload is primarily based on the Wordpress platform.
So this morning, I not not so much publicising as just paying testament to the joy that can be brought into your working day, and in this case a non working day, by doing something that you love, enjoy and become enthused about.
Life is too short to plod along in a routine that you hate and before you know it, its all over and you havent really been on the grand ride that is life.
I may be working on a Sunday morning, some will be quick to point out, but with beautiful kids comes a great obligation to make sure that their futures and indeed their presents will be happy. I love the job I am doing and given that as early as five years ago I would have been stumbling round a friends home looking for another can of beer at this time speaks volumes that I would much rather be here in this moment in time now.
Anyway, I just wanted to get some of that off my chest.
